Your stay at Cobbersfield isn’t complete without a
visit to nearby Goodwood where you’ll find entertainment
for every member of the family... whether you fancy a leisurely
stroll around the grounds of the magnificent estate, a tour
of the house, a day at the races, a lap round the motor racing
circuit or a flight in a Tiger Moth, Goodwood literally has everything.
The 2009 horse racing season runs from 2nd May to 11th October,
with Glorious Goodwood being 28th July to 1st August.

Walking in the Sussex Downs
At Cobbersfield, the South Downs are literally on your doorstep
– virtually whichever way you walk you can be up in
the Downs in less than 15 minutes and the best thing is that
you’ll have them almost exclusively to yourself. You
can stroll for hours and never see another soul – it’s
like having your very own giant back garden – and what
a beautiful garden it is too with some of the most astounding
views in England.
